MAINE INDOOR AIR QUALITY COUNCIL 

Member Logo Use

In December of 2008, the MIAQC Board of Directors adopted a new policy on use of the Council's logo by Council members.  The new policy states:

1)      Members in good standing of the Maine Indoor Air Quality Council (dues paid for current year) have permission to use the MIAQC Member logo on their professional letterhead, business cards, company brochures, and web pages. 

2)      Use of any other MIAQC logo for any purpose must be pre-approved by the Executive Director of the Maine Indoor Air Quality Council

3)      Use of the MIAQC member logo may NOT be used in such a manner that leads the public to believe:

a.         That the MIAQC is the origin or source of the goods, products or services provided by the member

b.         That the MIAQC endorses or approves the nature, quality or use of the goods, products or services provided by the member.

c.         That the MIAQC endorses the textual matter or content with which the logo has been associated by the member.

4)      The Maine Indoor Air Quality Council reserves the right to restrict use and/or revoke permission to use any and all MIAQC logos should MIAQC determine that continued logo use would not be in the best interests of the Council.
